Meet The Real Mayor Pete

From nowhere Pete Buttigieg, the homosexual mayor of South Bend, IN, has become a well-known fixture in the American media as a candidate for President of the United States. In this video Patrick Coffin interviews Dr. E. Michael Jones, who is Mayor Pete's neighbor and author of a concise biography about Mayer Pete titled “Home Alone: A Neighbor's Thoughts on Pete Buttigieg,” a riff on the candidate’s memoirs (well, a memoir cum political manifesto), Shortest Way Home: One Mayor’s Challenge and a Model for America’s Future. (May 28, 2019)

Mayor Pete grew up on the same street where the Jones family lives in South Bend. Jones’ oldest son attended the same high school, where both were class valedictorian (in different years, of course), and both went to Harvard. Yet, in Mayor Pete’s memoirs there is no mention of neighbors like the Jones family. As Jones makes clear, almost nothing is what it appears when it comes to this longshot Democratic candidate.

In this episode of the Patrick Coffin Show you will learn:

  • The hard left wing political ideas of Antonio Gramsci and Michel Foucault held and taught by Mayor Pete’s father, the late Joe Buttigieg of Notre Dame, and how these have profoundly influenced Junior.

  • Why the homosexual is now considered the ideal citizen.

  • The context of Mayor Pete’s mendacious rise in local politics and why South Bend residents do not grade him highly as major.

  • How the Democratic Party essentially invented Citizen Pete out of thin air.

  • Why Mayor Pete’s so-called gay marriage in the Episcopal church is the apotheosis of the 1930 Anglican decision to permit birth control.

Pete Buttigieg's Naked Resume

Pastor Mario Sims joins Dr. E. Michael Jones and Peter Helland to continue studying South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, his suitability for the presidency, and those who are trying to launch him as the first gay president.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg Vetoes Women's Care Center

A panel discussion on South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg's veto of a zoning change that would have permitted a counseling center to open next to an abortion clinic. The participants include host Peter Helland, Pastor Mario Sims, Pastor Grayland Watson, and E.Michael Jones, editor of Culture Wars magazine.

On April 28th Mayor Buttigieg, vetoed the common council's decision to grant the Women's Care Center a rezoning permit, saying, "This is one of the hardest decisions that I've ever made in this job." His decision has upset many right to life Christians in the Michiana area. The proposed Women's Care Center is located next to the new abortion clinic on South Bend's poorer West Side. The Center's outreach is especially meant to minister to the poorer minorities suffering from unwanted pregnancies. If one of the three African-American women on the common council changes her vote, the mayor's veto will be overruled.

Sex With Monsters

Dr. E. Michael Jones, editor of Culture Wars magazine, discusses the Academy Award winning movie The Shape of Water, Guillermo del Toro's remake of the 1954 movie The Creature from the Black Lagoon. In the Black Lagoon, which Guillermo saw when he was young, the beautiful Julie Adams is sexually assaulted by a monster called Gill-man. The relationship is consummated in Guillermo's remake.

Dr. Jones points out that the monster is really our own out of control sexual passions (spurred on by Hollywood of course). If we do not slay these passions we can not walk in Logos or see Logos i.e. Christ. We (especially the Church) must slay our sexual passions before we can secure our spiritual sight. The Hollywood film industry, has instead convinced us, in films like "The Shape of Water", to have sex with the monster instead of killing him.
